Meet Your Dietitian
Hi friend! I'm Amanda
I was diagnosed with T1D when I was 18 years old and to say it flipped my world upside down would be an understatement. While I was on the mission to achieve the lowest A1C possible, it came at the expense of having to give up foods that I love, spending time with people I care about, and being constantly on edge about every blood sugar level.
I knew there had to be a way to live my life seamlessly alongside diabetes without being afraid to experience all the things that life has to offer.
I truly never thought that I could exist without worrying about what my next meal would be or feeling guilty about eating certain foods. Now that I am a registered dietitian, I feel fully confident in my abilities to navigate any situation that life with T1D decides to throw at me.
I created this course because I believe that T1Ds deserve better support and more education so they can confidently eat carbs + stay in range.
